This privacy policy explains what information I (Kiko, the person behind kikomii) collect when you visit kikomii.com, how it is used and the choices you have. kikomii is a fan-made Roblox guide site. If you have questions, reach me through my Contact page.

Information I collect

  • Things you send me: if you use my contact or sponsorship form, I receive your name, email address and message.
  • Usage data: like most websites, my partners and I automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site and time spent on the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser that help the site work, measure traffic and show ads (more below).

I do not ask you to create an account, and I never ask for Roblox passwords or account details. Never share those with anyone.

Advertising: Google AdSense

I use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Analytics: Google Analytics and Site Kit

I use Google Analytics, connected through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited and general location, and I use it in aggregate. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Affiliate links: Amazon Associates

Some pages contain affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links. If you click one, Amazon or the retailer may set cookies to track that the visit came from kikomii, so I can earn a commission on qualifying purchases. I do not receive your payment details or personal information from those purchases. See my Affiliate Disclosure.

Contact and sponsorship forms

My contact form and my sponsorship form (on the Work With Me page) collect your name, email address and message. I use them only to reply to you. When you use either form, I use your name, email address and message only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation. I do not sell it or add you to a mailing list. Messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Third-party vendors and sharing

I do not sell your personal information for money. I share information only with service providers that help run the site, such as my web host, Google (advertising and analytics), Amazon (affiliate tracking) and my form and security plugins, or where required by law. These vendors have their own privacy policies.

Data retention and security

I keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. I use reasonable measures to protect it, but no website can guarantee perfect security.

Children’s privacy

kikomii is written for a general audience, including teens, parents and fans. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please don’t send me personal information, and ask a parent or guardian for help. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has sent me personal information, contact me through my Contact page and I will delete it.

Your rights (GDPR and UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. My legal bases are consent (for personalized ads and non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (running and securing the site) and responding to your requests. Your rights (California, CCPA/CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information I collect and how it’s used, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Advertising cookies may count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out using the ad choices links above or by contacting me through my Contact page.

I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
