Adopt Me! Wiki: Every Pet, Egg and System Explained

TL;DR, bestie

The kikomii Adopt Me! Wiki is my plain-English reference for every pet, egg, potion and system in Adopt Me!, one entry per thing.

  • Pets come in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra-Rare and Legendary, and age from Newborn to Full Grown.
  • Four Full Grown copies of the same pet make a Neon. Four Luminous Neons make a Mega Neon.
  • Every entry tells you how to get the thing, what it does, how in-demand it is (in words, not made-up numbers) and what I’d actually do with it.
  • For news and events, the Adopt Me guide hub is the place. This wiki is the encyclopedia.

🗓️ Last updated: 5 November 2026

Adopt Me! has been on Roblox since July 2017, and in that time it has piled up hundreds of pets, dozens of eggs, retired items, potions, strollers and enough trade slang to fill a dictionary. Big wikis are great, but they’re dense. My guides are great (I’m biased), but they’re about what’s happening this week. This wiki sits in between: one clear page per pet, egg or system, written for people who just want the answer.

How Adopt Me! works, in five systems

1. Eggs and hatching

Almost every pet starts life as an egg. The everyday ones live in the Nursery: the Cracked Egg and the Pet Egg cost Bucks, and the Royal Egg costs Robux. Better eggs shift the odds toward rarer pets. Limited eggs (the Safari Egg, Jungle Egg, Fossil Egg and friends) were sold for a while and then retired, so the pets inside them can only be traded for now. You hatch an egg by doing tasks with it, the same way you’d look after a pet. The wiki has a page for every egg with what was inside and how it’s usually obtained.

2. Pet ages and tasks

Pets level up as you complete their needs: hungry, thirsty, sleepy, dirty, bored and the rest. The stages go Newborn, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Post-Teen, Full Grown. Rarer pets need more tasks to grow, which is why a Full Grown Legendary takes a while. If you’re grinding, my age-up guide and the full ailments list will save you hours.

3. Neon and Mega Neon

Take four Full Grown copies of the same pet to the Neon Cave and they fuse into one glowing Neon. Neons have their own six ages, ending at Luminous. Four Luminous Neons fuse into a Mega Neon, which cycles through rainbow colors. The step-by-step lives in my Neon and Mega Neon guide; each pet page in this wiki says whether going Neon is worth it for that pet.

4. Potions

Fly and Ride potions let you fly on or ride a pet, which is a big part of why some pets trade better than others. Age-up potions skip a pet to Full Grown. All of it is in Potions explained.

5. Trading

Trading opens once you have a Trade License from the Safety Hub quiz. It’s also where most kids get scammed, so please read the scam guide before your first big trade. My trading guide covers W/F/L and value versus demand.

Pet rarities explained

RarityWhat it means in practice
CommonHatches all the time, ages fastest, easy Neon project
UncommonStill common in eggs, a little slower to raise
RareThe first tier people actually ask for in trades
Ultra-RareLower hatch odds, slower to age, decent trade bait
LegendaryThe dream tier: lowest odds, slowest to raise, highest demand

A few pets were tagged Event and removed after their event ended. Rarity is only half the story, though. A retired Rare can be far more wanted than a Legendary you can still hatch today, because supply only goes down once an egg leaves the shop.
