If you’ve ever stared at a thought bubble wondering “what on earth does a tent mean?”, this one’s for you. Here’s every regular Adopt Me! task: where to go, what it pays and the quickest way to clear it.
Basic tasks (do anywhere)

Tip: put a bed, bath and pet bowls in your house, and you can clear four tasks without leaving.
Location tasks (orange bubbles)
These send you somewhere for a short time and pay more. They’re also limited-time, so do them when they pop up.

Bonuses and special tasks
- 3× request bonus: sometimes a pet asks for a specific item on Catch, Ride, Walk, Hungry or Thirsty. Use that exact item for 3× Bucks and XP.
- Choose-a-task: a purple bubble with a question mark lets you pick one of three random tasks. (Sick, Sleepy and Dirty never show up as options.)
- Weather tasks: Leaf Pile (fall), Rain Puddle (rain), Build A Snowman (snow) and Diving Board (desert weather). These only appear during that weather.
- Event tasks: events add their own tasks for a limited time. The Party task only appears during Admin Abuse.
A fast task route
Here’s the loop I use when a pet has a few bubbles at once:
- Home first. Clear Sleepy, Hungry, Thirsty and Dirty with your own furniture. A fire hydrant just outside handles Potty.
- Pet Me while you wait for the next bubble. It’s instant.
- Head to the orange bubble with your pet in a stroller, so Ride and Walk often clear on the way.
- Carry a throw toy for surprise Catch tasks.
- Pet Pen: park the pets you’re not using so they keep earning XP.
If you have two pets equipped (Pet Handler Pro Certificate), pick tasks they share. One trip to the Salon clears both.
How much can you earn?

Double up: playing as a baby with a pet equipped gives you two sets of tasks at once. That’s the classic Bucks boost.
How tasks age your pet
Each task gives XP. From Newborn to Full Grown takes:

After Full Grown, tasks fill the Friendship Level bar. Every 30 tasks’ worth of XP earns an Age-Up Potion.
Kiko’s take: My routine: home tasks first (bed, bath, bowl), then whichever orange bubble pops up, with the pet in a stroller so Ride sorts itself out on the way. It’s honestly the Tamagotchi I always wanted. The only difference is that this one pays me, and doesn’t die if I leave it in my school bag.

What’s the fastest task in Adopt Me!?
Walk, Pet Me and Ride (via stroller) clear quickly on the move. Sleepy, Hungry, Thirsty and Dirty are fast at home with the right furniture.
How do I fix the Sick task?
Go to the Hospital and talk to Doctor Heart, eat a Healing Apple or lie on an operation bed.
What does the tent bubble mean?
Camping. Go to the Campsite.
Is there a limit on Bucks from tasks?
Yes: 300 per in-game day, or 500 with the Pet Handler Pro Certificate.
Why won’t my task complete?
Usually you’ve left the area too early (location tasks need you to stay a short while), or you used the wrong item. For request bonuses, it has to be the exact item shown.
