Brookhaven Art Deco Update: Start Time, Free House and Is the Premium House Worth It?

Brookhaven is swapping pumpkins for gold trim this week, and I’m here for it. I checked the official Roblox event listing and the sneak peeks creators have posted. Here’s the timing, what’s confirmed, what’s a guess and whether it’s worth spending anything.

The listing end is just when the event card comes down on Roblox. It doesn’t mean the houses disappear. Brookhaven houses usually stay, but the listing doesn’t say either way, so I’m not promising.

If nothing’s changed after the start time, leave and join a new server. Old servers keep running the old version until they close.

What’s actually confirmed

The official “✨ ART DECO ✨” listing, subtitled “New houses & props!”, says three things:

That’s the full official list. Brookhaven’s own blog hadn’t posted Art Deco notes when I checked, so everything beyond those three lines comes from creator sneak peeks. They’re fun, but sneak peeks have been wrong before, and I’d wait for the real thing before planning a roleplay around a specific room.

My take: a free house on an update day is the best kind of Brookhaven news. Free houses get the whole server roleplaying in the same place, which is when the game is at its best.

Before Friday: finish Halloween

Halloween wraps up about an hour before Art Deco lands, and once the hunt stops, so does your chance at the leftover rewards.

Is the Art Deco Premium House worth buying Premium for?

My honest take: not on its own, but Premium is still the best pass in the game.

• The case for it: Premium (320 Robux) unlocks every premium house, premium cars, the helicopter, the jet and pools. One new house is a bonus on top of all that. My game pass ranking has Premium at number one for a reason.
• The case against: buying a pass for one house you’ve only seen in a thumbnail is how you end up with a hallway full of regret. Wait until Friday, tour it in someone else’s server (or watch a walkthrough) and decide then.
• If you already own Premium: congrats, it’s free for you. Go claim it.

Hot take: the props will matter more than the houses. Brookhaven builders have been decorating with the same lamps since forever, and “vintage glamour” props could make every house in town look new. That’s the bit I’m most curious about.

Roleplay ideas for an Art Deco week

If the vibe is 1920s glamour, these write themselves:

• Grand hotel opening: front desk, bellhop, a guest who lost their room key, and a mystery in the lobby.
• Old Hollywood movie premiere: red carpet, photographers, a starlet who’s late (classic).
• Jazz-age detective story: a missing necklace, three suspects and one very dramatic reveal at dinner.

For parents

Nothing about this update changes safety settings. The free house costs nothing, and the Premium House needs a game pass if your kid asks. If you’re setting a budget, Premium (320 Robux) is the one pass I’d consider, and my Brookhaven safety guide covers chat and privacy.
