How to Get the Free Trick-or-Treat House in Brookhaven
TL;DR, bestie
The Trick’or’Treat House is Brookhaven’s free Halloween 2026 house. Find 50 Candy Corn in the Candy Corn hunt and it unlocks in the Candy Hunt Prizes menu, no Robux needed. Then open Houses, claim an empty plot and pick it from the list. The hunt runs until 6 November, so you’ve got about 12 days. Don’t confuse it with the Monster House, which is the paid one (Monster Bundle).
🗓️ Last updated: 1 November 2026 — event end date confirmed: Fri 6 Nov: 9:44am PT / 12:44pm ET / 5:44pm GMT / 4:44am AEDT (Sat 7 Nov) / 6:44am NZDT (Sat 7 Nov)
Brookhaven’s Halloween update dropped a couple of days ago, and the free house is the reward everyone’s racing for. Here’s exactly how to unlock it, the quickest way to 50, and what to do if it doesn’t show up.

Free house vs paid house
There are two Halloween houses this year, and they’re easy to mix up.
| Trick’or’Treat House | Monster House | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free | Paid (Monster Bundle) |
| How to get it | Find 50 Candy Corn | Buy the bundle in the store |
| Extras | Spooky-season house | Face controls, secret brain room, Frankenmobile car |
| Price | 0 Robux | 399 Robux (check in-game) |
This guide is about the free one. The paid one comes with its own extras. I’ll cover it separately.
How to unlock the Trick’or’Treat House
- Join Brookhaven while the Halloween event is on (until 6 November 2026).
- Collect Candy Corn around town. The pieces glow and spin, and your counter is in the Candy Hunt Prizes menu.
- Reach 50. Rewards unlock every 5 pieces. The house is the 50 reward, which is the last milestone.
- Open the Houses menu, pick a vacant residential plot and claim it.
- Choose the Trick’or’Treat House from the house list.
If you already own a plot, you’ll need to leave it first. Brookhaven lets you have one plot at a time, and there’s a short cooldown when you switch.
Every reward on the way to 50
| Candy Corn | Reward | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Cursed Book | Tool |
| 10 | Monster Doormat | Prop |
| 15 | Watching Orb | Prop |
| 20 | Jack-o’-Lantern | Prop |
| 25 | Candy Cruiser | Vehicle |
| 30 | Haunted Jack-in-the-Box | Tool |
| 35 | Floating Witch Hat | Prop |
| 40 | Skeleton Arch | Prop |
| 45 | Skull Lamppost | Prop |
| 50 | Trick’or’Treat House | House |
Lots of these props suit the house. Put the Monster Doormat, Skeleton Arch and Skull Lamppost out front and you’ve got the spookiest driveway on the street.

The fastest way to 50
The counter goes up to 60, so you can miss 10 pieces and still get the house. Use that.
- Do the easy districts first. The spawn streets, shops, pool, school and airport have lots of pieces in the open. Most players are past 25 (and driving the Candy Cruiser) before they reach anywhere tricky.
- Leave the bank for later, or skip it. Several pieces are behind the bank’s keycard puzzle (green card, white card, then a vent). That’s fun the first time and slow every time after. You might not need them for 50.
- Grab a ladder for the daycare roof. It’s one of the classic “how did I miss that” spots.
- Use the radar if you’re stuck. The Candy Corn Radar costs 9 Robux, or you can watch an ad for it. It points towards nearby pieces. It’s handy for the last few, but you don’t need it.
- Follow a map. NoobBlox’s all-60 video (linked in the sources) shows every piece in order.
Is the house worth it?
It’s free, it’s themed, and it’s a W for zero Robux. As a roleplay base it’s great for:
- Trick-or-treat nights: one person hands out candy at the door while everyone else does the rounds.
- A haunted house tour: pop the Watching Orb and Jack-o’-Lanterns inside and give your friends a “guided tour”.
- Halloween family RP: costume prep, pumpkin carving, the works. My family roleplay ideas adapt nicely.
I haven’t found an official room-by-room description of the inside yet, so I won’t pretend to know every hidden feature. Explore it yourself once it’s placed.
Kiko’s take: Go for 50, place the house, and you’re done. The last 10 Candy Corn are optional. Spend that time decorating instead. My spooky-season rating: easily worth a few evenings, and it costs less than a Blockbuster late fee (which is to say, nothing).
Scam check
You don’t need Robux, codes or anyone’s help to get this house. Brookhaven has no codes at all. Anyone offering to “unlock the free house” for your password, or selling a “Candy Corn auto-collect” script, is trying to steal your account or get you banned. Only collect pieces in the game yourself.
