MM2 Codes (November 2026): What Actually Works and What’s a Scam
TL;DR, bestie
There are no working Murder Mystery 2 codes right now (checked 1 November 2026). The MM2 Wiki lists 17 past codes, all expired, including F1RSTC0D3, HW2017 and COMB4T2. MM2’s code box still exists (open the Inventory, find the Redeem Code field), but Nikilis hasn’t released a new code in years. Anyone offering “free godly codes” is scamming.
🗓️ Last updated: 1 November 2026
MM2 codes come up every Halloween, because people remember the old event codes. Here’s where things actually stand.
Working MM2 codes (November 2026)
| Code | Reward | Status |
|---|---|---|
| None | — | No working codes, 1 Nov 2026 |
The MM2 Wiki’s codes page (last updated 27 September 2026) shows no active codes, and nothing newer has appeared on Nikilis’ channels since.
Expired MM2 codes (examples)
| Code | What it gave | Status |
|---|---|---|
| F1RSTC0D3 | Gifted knife (Uncommon) | Expired |
| R3PT1L3 | Reptile knife | Expired |
| PATR1CK | Patrick knife | Expired |
| B4CK2SK00L | Skool knife | Expired |
| N3XTL3V3L | TNL knife | Expired |
| HW2017 | Pumpkin (2017) pet, the only code pet | Expired |
| COMB4T2 | Combat II knife (Season 1) | Expired |
There are 17 past codes on the wiki, mostly Common knives from MM2’s early years, often tied to YouTubers like The Pals. Gifted was the only Uncommon. Not one was a godly, and none of them will come back.

How to redeem an MM2 code (if one ever drops)
- Open MM2 and go to the lobby.
- Open your Inventory.
- Find the Redeem Code box, type the code exactly, and press Redeem.
If a video shows a code box in a weird place, or one that asks you to log in on a website, it isn’t MM2.
Free stuff that actually exists in MM2
- Halloween 2026 event: running until 16 November. Candies, the battle pass and the Ember set are covered in my MM2 Halloween guide.
- Leveling: every level gives a crate, and Prestige gives extra rewards.
- Trading: smart trading beats codes every time. Start with my MM2 trading guide.
Scam check
“Free godly codes”, “MM2 dupe scripts” and “value giveaway” sites are scams, every single one. The common ones:
- Fake code sites that ask for your Roblox login “to claim”.
- Script/executor downloads promising free Chromas. These install malware or get your account banned.
- “Trust trades”: “give me your godly first and I’ll give you two back”. You won’t get anything back.
- Fake value admins DM’ing you with “official values”. Real lists don’t DM people.
My MM2 trading scams guide goes through each one.
How to spot a fake code site
| Red flag | Why it’s fake |
|---|---|
| “Generator”, “unlimited” or “free Robux” in the name | Codes can’t be generated. They come only from the developer |
| Asks for your username and password | No real code needs a login. This is phishing |
| Asks you to download an app or “verify” with a survey | It makes money from you, not for you |
| Lists dozens of codes with no dates | Usually copied, made up or long expired |
| Promises pets, Robux or limited items | Real codes are usually small freebies, if a game has them at all |
Where real codes come from
Developers post codes in a few places: the game’s own description, their Roblox group, their official social accounts or Discord, and sometimes in-game update messages. If a code isn’t in any of those, treat it with suspicion. I only list a code after it’s been seen in one of those places, and I mark the date I last checked it. My free Robux scams guide explains the most common tricks.
Safe trading checklist
- Use the in-game trade window only. Both players add items, and both have to accept. Anything else is a trust trade.
- Read the item name twice. Scammers swap a Chroma for a normal version (or a lookalike) at the last second.
- Never go first in a cross-trade. Robux, other games’ items or “I’ll pay you after” deals have no protection.
- Ignore pressure. “Quick, accept before I leave” is the oldest trick going.
- Decline anything that feels off. There’s always another trade.

For parents: quick safety links
If you’re here because your child is hooked, these guides cover the platform basics in plain English:
| Guide | What it helps with |
|---|---|
| Roblox parental controls | Step-by-step account setup |
| Roblox spending limits | Stop surprise Robux bills |
| Roblox chat settings | Who can talk to your child |
| Report and block players | What to do when someone’s unkind |
| Free Robux scams | The tricks kids fall for, and how to explain them |
Kiko’s take: MM2 codes are basically a Y2K bug at this point: everyone’s still talking about them, and nothing happens. Put your energy into the Halloween event before 16 November, and keep your godlies away from anyone promising “codes”.

FAQ
Are there any MM2 codes in November 2026?
No. There are no working Murder Mystery 2 codes as of 1 November 2026.
Where is the MM2 code box?
In your Inventory, as the Redeem Code field.
Will Halloween bring back MM2 codes?
Not on current evidence. Recent Halloween events have used Candies and battle passes, not codes.
Is there a code for a free godly?
No. Codes never gave godlies (the best ever was the Uncommon Gifted knife), and any site claiming they do is phishing.
Where’s the latest MM2 info?
My MM2 hub and the weekly codes roundup.
