MM2 Halloween 2026 Event Guide: Candies, Battle Pass and the Emberscythe

MM2’s Halloween 2026 event (theme: Retro) swaps Coins for Candies and runs into mid-November, so you’ve got about four weeks. The 30-tier pass is free to start (Tier 1, Zombie Plush). Most guides put tiers 2–29 at 600 Candies each, which is about 16,800 in total. Tier 30, the Emberbow (Ancient gun), costs 100,000. Combine the Emberbow with the box Godly Embersickle at the Cauldron to get the Emberscythe.

The event started on 18 October, so I’m a few days in. Here’s what each tier costs, what the box odds actually mean in math, and whether chasing the Ancient is worth your evenings.

The odd tiers from 3 to 27 each give a Halloween Key (13 in total), and each key opens one Halloween Box.
*Source check: most guides (MM2Hub, bloxguidesgg, dropmarket) list 600 Candies per tier for tiers 2–29, or 16,800 in total. One section of the MM2 Wiki’s event page says 800 per tier (117,400 overall). I couldn’t settle it from outside the game, so check the price on the next tier in-game before you plan around it.
Halloween Box 2026: the odds, in math
One box costs 600 Candies or 1 Halloween Key.

What 0.2% means in real life:
- On average, 1 Embersickle per 500 boxes, which is 300,000 Candies if you pay in Candies.
- With all 13 pass keys, your chance of at least one Embersickle is about 2.6%.
- Even after 500 boxes, about 37% of players still won’t have one. Averages don’t promise anything.
- The Chroma Embersickle (0.004%) is about 1 in 25,000 boxes. That’s not a plan, it’s a lottery ticket.
Kiko’s take: Don’t buy boxes hunting the Embersickle. Grind the pass for the Emberbow instead. If you want the Emberscythe, trade for an Embersickle once a few are around. It’ll almost certainly cost less than 500 boxes’ worth of Candies.
Emberscythe: the Cauldron craft
Behind the event NPC sits the Cauldron. Put in an Emberbow + Embersickle and you get the Emberscythe, an Ancient knife. There’s also a low chance of a Chroma Emberscythe, which, with the Chroma Emberbow, makes up MM2’s first Chroma Ancients. The Emberbow itself also has a rare chance of rolling as a Chroma Emberbow.
What are the event items worth?
It’s week one, so value lists are still guessing. New event items usually launch high and drift down as everyone grinds the pass, while the rare box and Chroma pieces hold up better. Check MM2Values and Supreme Values on the day, and don’t trade your Emberbow in the first week out of panic.
How to farm Candies faster
- Daily quests reset at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT / 7pm AEDT / 9pm NZDT. Collecting 60, 120 and 200 Candies pays 220, 110 and 170 bonus Candies, so do all three every day.
- Event quests: finishing 15, 30 and 45 dailies unlocks the Hexed, Pumpkin and Ghostly rewards.
- Bingo (3×3): a grid of innocent, sheriff and murderer tasks. Rewards include Bats, Witches Brew, Jack, 2 keys, Pumpkins, the Flameburst effect and a Cauldron.
- Leaderboard: top grinders earn Gold, Silver, Bronze or Blue Emberbow variants.
- New map: Haunted House 2 is in rotation alongside returning maps.
Robux shortcuts (optional)
The Mortal knife and Immortal gun cost 1,699 Robux each, and the Mortal Bundle with the Smolder effect costs 3,399 Robux. Skip them unless you’d actually use the skins.
What happens when the event ends?
Past MM2 events suggest the Halloween items become trade-only once the event ends, and supply stops for good. That can help the rarer pieces, but everyone can farm the Emberbow, so don’t assume it’ll skyrocket. Watch the values the week after the event closes. Scam check
“Free Emberbow giveaway, just join my private server and drop your best knife first” is a classic. Nobody can give you pass rewards, and there are no working MM2 codes (check the MM2 hub for updates). Trade only in-game, never trade first, and ignore anyone selling items for real money.
