Is It Too Late to Get the Emberbow in MM2? My Honest Candy Math

TL;DR, bestie

Short answer: if you’re starting from zero today, the Emberbow is out of reach for almost everyone. MM2 Halloween ends Mon 16 Nov: 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT / 5am AEDT (Tue 17 Nov) / 7am NZDT (Tue 17 Nov). The full pass costs 116,800 Candies. Even if you clear every daily quest from here (about 7,000 bonus Candies), you’d still have to pick up roughly 109,800 off the floor. At a 40-Candy bag, that’s about 2,700 rounds, or more than 200 rounds a day. My honest advice: aim for the Emberknife (Tier 29) instead. It needs about 245 rounds in total, and that’s realistic. Only chase the Emberbow if you’re already deep into it.

Scam check

Nobody can give you the Emberbow, transfer Candies or “boost” your pass. “Emberbow giveaway, drop your best knife first” is the oldest trick in MM2. There are no working MM2 codes, and Candy scripts can get your account banned. Trade only inside the game, and never trade first.

I love a big shiny reward, and the Emberbow is the biggest thing in this event. But I’ve seen too many “you can STILL get it!!” thumbnails this week, so I did the math nobody wants to do. Here’s my honest answer to “is it too late?”, with every number shown, so you can plug in your own Candy balance and decide.

The numbers I’m working with

Facts (from my battle pass breakdown and Candy guide):

WhatNumber
Tiers 2 to 29600 Candies each, 16,800 in total
Tier 29 rewardEmberknife (Legendary knife)
Tier 30 rewardEmberbow (Ancient gun), 100,000 Candies
Full pass116,800 Candies
Daily quests500 bonus Candies a day (collect 60, 120 and 200)
Quest reset12am PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT / 7pm AEDT / 9pm NZDT
Bag limit40 a round, 50 with Elite (coin rules; very likely the same for Candies)
Event endsMon 16 Nov: 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT / 5am AEDT (Tue 17 Nov) / 7am NZDT (Tue 17 Nov)

One caveat I flagged before still applies: most guides list 600 Candies per tier, but one section of the MM2 Wiki says 800. Check the price of your next tier in-game before you plan around my math.

How many quest days are left?

Counting from today, Wednesday 4 November (NZ time), there are 13 more daily resets before the event ends, plus the quest day you’re on now. That’s up to 14 quest days, or 7,000 bonus Candies if you never miss one.

That bonus is the best deal in the event, and it’s still nowhere near enough on its own.

The Emberbow math (starting from zero)

  • Full pass: 116,800
  • Minus 14 days of quest bonuses: −7,000
  • Left to pick up off the floor: about 109,800
  • At 40 a round: about 2,745 rounds
  • At 50 a round with Elite: about 2,196 rounds

Spread over the roughly 12 and a half days left, that’s about 220 rounds a day (about 175 with Elite). MM2 doesn’t publish an official round length, but if you guess around three minutes per round including the lobby (my rough estimate), you’re looking at about 11 hours a day. Every day. Until the 16th.

My take: that’s not a grind, that’s a part-time job with worse pay. If you’re starting now, the Emberbow is gone, and I’d rather tell you that today than let you find out on day 10.

What if you’re already partway there?

This is where it gets interesting. Here’s the formula I’d use:

Rounds needed = (116,800 − Candies already spent or saved − 7,000) ÷ 40

You’ve already gotRounds left (40 bag)Per day (about 12.5 days)
0about 2,745about 220
30,000about 1,995about 160
60,000about 1,245about 100
80,000about 745about 60
100,000about 245about 20

If you’ve been playing daily since the event started on 18 October and you’re in the 80,000+ zone, go for it. That’s a few hours a day, and you’ve already done the hard part. Under about 60,000, I’d be honest with yourself about your evenings.

The realistic goal: the Emberknife

The Emberknife sits at Tier 29, so you need 16,800 Candies to reach it from Tier 1. Starting from zero:

  • 16,800 − 7,000 quest bonus = 9,800 to pick up
  • At 40 a round: about 245 rounds, or about 20 a day

That’s a chill evening session. You also collect the 13 Halloween Keys on the odd tiers along the way, and that’s 13 free box rolls at the 0.2% Embersickle. Unlikely, but free tickets are free tickets.

My take: the Emberknife plus 13 keys is the best value-per-hour in this event for anyone starting late. It’s the sensible goal, not the consolation prize.

Should you buy Candies with Robux?

You can buy Candies with Robux, but I wouldn’t for the Emberbow. Here’s why:

  • Everyone can farm it. As I said in my event guide, a reward that every grinder can earn is unlikely to skyrocket in value after the event.
  • Robux spent on a time limit feels awful if you fall short anyway.
  • If you want an Ancient for trading, it’s usually cheaper to wait until after the event and check values then, when the supply is fixed.

What I’d do with 12 days left

  1. Never miss a daily quest. That’s 500 Candies for collecting 200 you’d pick up anyway.
  2. Set your goal tonight: Emberknife if you’re under about 60,000 Candies, Emberbow if you’re well above it.
  3. Play public servers only. Private server rounds don’t pay out.
  4. Grab Candies first, then play your role. Fill your bag early in the round, while everyone’s still spread out.
  5. Stop when it stops being fun. It’s a game about knives and cartoon candy. Your sleep is worth more than an Ancient.

Kiko’s take: Is it too late for the Emberbow? For most people starting now, yes, and that’s okay. The math says about 220 rounds a day, and no amount of hype changes that. Go for the Emberknife, open your 13 keys and enjoy the event without turning it into homework. If you’re already sitting on a big Candy stack, you’ve earned the chase, so go finish it. Either way, nobody needs a video telling them it’s “EASY” when the numbers clearly say it isn’t. Be kind to your thumbs.

FAQ

Can I still get the Emberbow in MM2?

If you already have a big Candy balance, yes. Starting from zero, you’d need about 2,700 rounds before 16 November, which isn’t realistic for most players.

How many Candies do I need for the Emberknife?

16,800 to reach Tier 29, if tiers cost 600 each. With 14 days of quest bonuses, that’s about 9,800 to pick up yourself.

When does MM2 Halloween 2026 end?

Mon 16 Nov: 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT / 5am AEDT (Tue 17 Nov) / 7am NZDT (Tue 17 Nov).

Does Elite help with the Emberbow?

It raises the bag limit from 40 to 50 a round (likely the same for Candies), which cuts about 550 rounds off the full grind. That helps, but it doesn’t make the Emberbow realistic from zero.
