MM2 trade chat is its own language: “W/L? chroma seer for 2 godlies + OP” means something very specific. Here’s the slang you’ll see in servers, Discords and value videos, decoded in plain English.

Weapon rarities
| Rarity | What it means |
|---|---|
| Common | The lowest tier, easiest to get |
| Uncommon | Slightly harder to unbox |
| Rare | Harder again |
| Legendary | About a 5% crate chance. Elite gamepass items are in this tier |
| Godly | The iconic, tradeable “good” weapons. A small crate chance, or from events and crafting |
| Ancient | Rare weapons, now from event purchases or trading |
| Vintage / Classic | Weapons from the original Murder Mystery. Trade only |
| Unique | Top tier, mostly leaderboard trophies. Nearly all untradeable (Corrupt is the famous exception) |
Collectibles: valuable non-Godly weapons. Some are rarer than Godlies.

Item types
| Type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Chroma | A rainbow-shifting version of a Godly, rarer than the normal one |
| Evo | Weapons that evolve to higher rarities with XP (first added in Halloween 2021) |
| Set | A knife and gun pair from the same theme, often worth more together |
| Holiday weapons | From Halloween or Christmas events. Limited, so they often hold value |
Trading words
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| W / F / L | Win / Fair / Loss |
| OP | Overpay: extra on top of value |
| Adds | Extra items to balance a trade |
| Upgrade / Downgrade | Several smaller items for one bigger one, or the reverse |
| Value | What an item is typically worth, from community lists |
| Seers | The unit MM2Values uses (Supreme uses raw value numbers) |
| Demand | How much people want an item (often rated out of 10) |
| Stability | How steady an item’s value is. “Stable”, “rising”, “dropping” or “fluctuating” |
| Rarity | How hard an item is to find in circulation |
| LF / FT | Looking for / For trade |
| Lowball | A deliberately bad offer |
| Dupe | A duplicated item made with an exploit. Against the rules |
Two value lists: most traders check MM2Values and Supreme Values. They use different scales and often disagree. Check both.
Gameplay slang
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Murd / Sherf | Murderer / Sheriff |
| Hero | An Innocent who picked up the gun |
| Juke | Dodging a Murderer with sudden direction changes |
| Gun camping | The Murderer waiting by the dropped gun |
| Teaming | Players secretly helping the Murderer. Unsportsmanlike |
| Powers (old name: Perks) | Murderer abilities like Ninja, Sprint and X-Ray |
| Coins / bag | Currency collected each round. A “full bag” is the round’s max |
| Standard / Disguises / Assassin | The three modes |
Phrases that mean “scam”
| Phrase | What’s really going on |
|---|---|
| “Trust trade, you go first” | They take your item and leave |
| “I’ll give you a godly if you follow me” | They won’t |
| “Free godly code” / “generator” | Fake. Often after your password |
| “My item’s duped, so it’s cheap” | Dupes are against the rules and can be removed |
| “I’m a value admin, my list says…” | Use your own lists |
Scam check
Scam check:
- Only trade in the official trade window.
- Check both value lists yourself.
- Never share your password, and ignore “free godly” offers.
- Trading needs level 10 (a rule added to fight duping). A brand-new account offering amazing deals is a red flag.
Where items come from
| Source | What you can get |
|---|---|
| Crates (boxes) | Bought with coins or gems. Mostly Common to Legendary, with a small Godly chance |
| Crafting | Salvage weapons into materials and craft new ones (including the Chroma Seer) |
| Events | Halloween and Christmas boxes, battle passes and limited Godlies |
| Leaderboards | Unique trophy weapons for top event players |
| Trading | Everything tradeable, including Vintages you can’t get any other way |
Knowing where an item comes from helps you guess its future: event items often rise after the event ends, while crate items stay steadier.
Decoding a real message
“LF chroma, have 2 godlies + OP, no lowballs” → Looking for a Chroma weapon. Offering two Godlies plus extra value. Don’t send bad offers.
“W/F/L? my set for their ancient” → Is my knife-and-gun set for their Ancient a win, fair or a loss?
“Trading chromas only, no godly spam, need lvl 10” → They only want Chroma items, don’t want to be flooded with ordinary Godly offers, and are reminding people that trading needs level 10. Fair enough. Move on if you don’t have what they want.
“Sell for robux, DM me” → Red flag. Selling items for real money breaks Roblox’s rules, and it’s the start of countless scams. Report and walk away.
Kiko’s take: Learning MM2 slang is like learning text speak in 2002. Confusing for a week, then you can’t stop saying “OP”. Get the rarity order down first. Then remember that demand beats value when you actually want to trade something on.
