Necromancer in 99 Nights: 600 Diamonds, Cultist Summons and Souls

TL;DR, bestie

  • Necromancer costs 600 Diamonds and starts with a Cultist Staff.
  • Pick up souls from dead cultists, spend them to resurrect cultists (up to 6 summons with tames).
  • Higher levels: stronger summon damage, better night vision per cultist.
  • Same price tier as Vampire / Cyborg — buy after economy classes.

Necromancer turns enemy cultists into a part-time job. Staff out, souls in, army online.

Perks

Souls spawn near dead cultists. Consume souls via staff to resurrect. Damage goals and resurrect counts gate higher levels. Night vision bonuses reward keeping a pack alive.

How to play it

Fight where cultists die, scoop souls immediately, rebuild your pack before the next wave. Don't wander so far that summons scatter into the Deer. Call summon count in multiplayer so fighters don't AOE your homework.

Is it worth it

Worth it if you love army micromanagement and already own Lumberjack / Hunter. Not worth skipping food/fuel for a drip undead fantasy. Six hundred Diamonds should sting.

Kiko's take: Necromancer is the most "I am the dungeon" class in the game. I'd buy it on a main that already cleared the cheap kit.

Summon hygiene

Six-cap includes tames — don't accidentally soft-lock your army with pets you forgot. Clear useless summons before a big resurrect window. Hard Mode cultist density can feel like a buff if you're ready and a wipe if you're not.

I track resurrect counts the same way Vampire players track Blood Meter pops. If the number is low, I'm sightseeing.

Necromancer micromanagement is the tax. If you hate pet pathing, you will hate cultist pathing more. Six-cap math includes tames — clear the roster before a big resurrect window.

I buy Necro only after lumber and hunt are done. Undead armies don't chop trees.

Track resurrect counts like a scoreboard. Low numbers mean sightseeing with a staff.

Necromancer armies turn quiet forests into traffic jams. Call your summon count so teammates don't purge your cultists with friendly AOE. Micromanagement is the price of the fantasy — if that sentence already sounds bad, buy Hunter instead.

Six hundred Diamonds means I already own lumber and food. Undead do not cook. Undead do not chop. Undead look cool while you starve, which is a genre, not a strategy.

Resurrect scoreboards keep me honest. Low counts mean I'm collecting souls like souvenirs instead of spending them.

Clear useless tames before a resurrect window or the six-cap will soft-lock your army mid-fight.

Necromancer fantasies die when summons block doorways. Park the army with intent. Spend souls on purpose. Six hundred Diamonds deserves that much respect. Food and fuel classes still come first on every account I plan to main.

Cap management is the whole class: keep one summon slot free for emergencies, spend souls on the summon that covers your weak angle, and dismiss clutter before a boss phase so the cap does not lock you out of a clutch revive.
