Brookhaven Community Outfits Beta: How It Works and Is It Actually Good?

TL;DR, bestie

Brookhaven’s Community Outfits beta lets you upload your outfit for everyone to see, like other players’ outfits and browse the most popular looks, all inside the Avatar Editor. Voldex says it’s live for 70% of players as a beta, so if you can’t see it, you’re probably not in the test yet. The same update added a makeup category, an undo button, new helicopter blades and a VIP Quadcopter. The beta’s Roblox event listing runs until Thu 5 Nov: 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm GMT / 6am AEDT (Fri 6 Nov) / 8am NZDT (Fri 6 Nov).

🗓️ Last updated: 2 November 2026

Brookhaven has always been a dress-up game wearing a roleplay costume, so a proper outfit-sharing feature was only a matter of time. Here’s what the beta does, why some people can’t see it, and my honest take on whether it’s a W or just a new way to feel bad about your fit.

The listing end is when the Roblox event card expires. It doesn’t necessarily mean the feature gets switched off. Voldex hasn’t said what happens to the beta afterwards.

Why can’t I see Community Outfits?

Fact: the official notes say the beta went to 70% of players “for now”. One fan site described it as “a random half”, so the exact share depends on who you ask, but either way, not everyone has it.

If it’s missing for you:

  1. Rejoin a fresh server. Updates sometimes only appear on new servers.
  2. Check the Avatar Editor tabs for a community or outfits section.
  3. If it still isn’t there, you’re probably not in the test group. There’s no button to opt in, and no code unlocks it. Brookhaven has never had a code box.

My take: a staged beta is the sensible way to launch anything with uploads and likes. If it breaks, it breaks for fewer people. It’s annoying if you’re in the 30%, but I’d rather have a slow rollout than a feature that melts every server on day one.

Is Community Outfits actually good? My honest take

Hot take: it’s the best Avatar Editor change Brookhaven has made in ages, with one big catch.

Why I like it:

  • Inspiration on tap. Half of Brookhaven is people asking “how did you make that outfit?”. Now you can just look.
  • Likes reward effort. Players who spend an hour on a themed roleplay look finally get some credit for it.
  • The undo button is the real MVP. I can’t count how many fits I’ve wrecked with one wrong click. Small feature, huge W.

The catch: anything with a public like count turns into a popularity contest. The most-liked list will likely be full of the same trending looks, and younger players can feel left out when their outfit gets zero likes. That’s not a reason to skip the feature, but it’s worth talking about at home (see the parent note below).

The other bits: makeup and the VIP Quadcopter

  • Makeup category: a new section in the Avatar Editor. I think it’s a nice addition for roleplay, especially for character looks like clowns, zombies or stage performers.
  • Helicopter blades: a visual refresh for existing helicopters.
  • VIP Quadcopter: a new flying vehicle. The notes don’t list a separate price. My read is that it’s tied to Brookhaven’s VIP pass, but I haven’t been able to confirm that, so check the vehicle menu before you assume you’ll get it.

What I’d do with it

  • Upload one outfit you’re proud of, not ten. Quality over spam.
  • Like outfits you genuinely rate. It’s free, and it’s nice.
  • Don’t chase likes. A Brookhaven fit is for your roleplay, not a scoreboard.
  • Before copying an outfit, check what it uses. Community outfits can include Roblox catalog items that cost Robux, so look before you buy anything.

A quick note for parents

Community Outfits means your child’s avatar can be seen and liked by other players. The notes don’t mention comments, but likes alone can still feel like a popularity score. A simple script: “If an outfit gets no likes, that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Want to show me your favorite one?” For spending limits and safety settings, use Roblox’s own Parental Controls under Settings, and the help pages linked below.

Kiko’s take: Community Outfits is a W, and the undo button is the quiet hero of the update. Use it for ideas, like the fits you actually love and ignore the leaderboard energy. If you’re not in the beta yet, rejoin and wait. There’s no trick to unlock it, no matter what a video says. It’s giving Y2K forum avatar showcase, and honestly, I’m here for it.

Scam check

No code, website or “beta access” link can add you to the Community Outfits test. Anyone asking for your Roblox login to “unlock” it is trying to steal your account. Brookhaven has no codes, and Robux only comes from Roblox itself.
