How to Age Up Pets Fast in Adopt Me: Tasks, Potions and Strollers

- Aging = tasks. Newborn to Full Grown takes 25 (Common) to 183 (Legendary) tasks.
- Fastest legit stack:
- clear every task as it appears;
- use request bonuses (3× XP);
- keep pets in your Pet Pen (800 XP an hour online, 200 offline);
- run two pets with a Pet Handler Pro Certificate;
- use Age-Up Potions (+30 tasks) from Friendship Levels.
- A stroller clears Ride tasks on the move, for friends’ pets too.

Aging a pet in Adopt Me! is the original Tamagotchi grind, just with better graphics and fewer tears. Since September 2025 it’s much faster than it used to be (a Legendary dropped from 275 tasks to 183). Here’s how to squeeze every bit of XP out of your playtime.

Stages go: Newborn → Junior → Pre-Teen → Teen → Post-Teen → Full Grown. Neons use Reborn → Twinkle → Sparkle → Flare → Sunshine → Luminous.
1. Clear tasks fast
Every task is XP. Speed comes from not wasting time between them:
- Furnish your house with a bed, bath, food bowl, water bowl and a toilet or litter box. That clears five task types at home.
- Keep a throw toy handy for Catch.
- Use Pet Me whenever it shows up. It’s instant.
- Choose-a-task bubbles (the purple question mark): pick whatever’s quickest from where you’re standing.

2. Use request bonuses (3×)
Sometimes a pet asks for a specific item on Catch, Ride, Walk, Hungry or Thirsty. Use that exact item and you get 3× Bucks and XP. The Preferred Potion (an age-up reward) forces one of these requests. Save it for when you’ve also got Bonus Aging running.
3. Strollers: Ride tasks on autopilot
Equip a stroller and your equipped pets hop in, which clears Ride. Pets with the Ride task get priority for the seats. If friend permissions are on, friends’ and family members’ pets can ride too, so in a group one stroller helps everyone. You always have the free Default Stroller, and the Baby Shop sells others (from 100 Bucks).
4. Pet Pens: age while you sleep
Every player has a Pet Pen next to their house:

- Slots: 4 free, and a 5th for 295 Robux.
- The catch: pets only bank enough XP for one level before you need to visit and claim. Check in between sessions.
- Full Grown pets can’t earn Pet Pen XP, so swap them out.
5. Two pets at once
The Pet Handler Pro Certificate (250 Robux, or included with Pets Plus) lets you equip two pets and raises the daily Bucks cap, for 30 days. You can stack up to three for 90 days. Two pets doing shared tasks (both go to School, both sleep) roughly doubles your aging per minute.

Free Age-Up Potions: once a pet is Full Grown, every 30 tasks’ worth of XP raises its Friendship Level and gives one Age-Up Potion. Keep a Full Grown pet equipped as your “potion farm” while the babies sit in the Pet Pen.
What doesn’t work
- AFK scripts and auto-clickers. They’re against the rules and risk your account.
- “Free age-up” games or sites. No outside game can age your Adopt Me! pets, and many just want your password.
- Waiting with tasks unclaimed. Bubbles don’t stack forever, so a pet sitting with a full bubble is wasted time.
- Spreading potions thin. Ten Age-Up Potions on ten Commons does less for your Neon plans than focusing on one set.
A sample session (30 minutes)
- Claim Pet Pen XP and swap in fresh pets.
- Equip your two target pets and drink Bonus Aging and Bonus Bucks if you have them.
- Clear home tasks, then follow the orange bubbles with the stroller out.
- Use any Age-Up Potions on the pet closest to its next stage. Higher-rarity pets save the most grinding.
- Before logging off, fill the Pet Pen again.
Scam check
Scam check: “Pet sitting” offers are a classic scam (“give me your pet, I’ll age it for you”). Nobody needs to hold your pet to age it. Use the Pet Pen.
Kiko’s take: Pet Pen plus Full Grown potion farm is the combo that changed my life. My baby pets age overnight while a grown-up pet quietly earns me Age-Up Potions. If you’d told 1998 me my virtual pet could grow up while I was asleep and not die, I’d have traded my Tamagotchi for this on the spot.
