Crow in Adopt Me: The Rarest Farm Egg Roll and Its Sunset Mega Neon
TL;DR, bestie
- The Crow is a Legendary pet that came with the Farm Egg on 22 November 2019.
- The Farm Egg cost 750 Bucks. It had a 3% Legendary chance, split between two birds, so the Crow itself was only about 1.5%.
- The egg is retired, so trading is the realistic way to get one now.
- The Neon glows bright white over almost the whole body. The Mega Neon cycles pink, orange and yellow, like a sunset.

The Crow is a plain black bird, and that’s exactly why people love it. In a game full of pastel rainbows, a solid black Legendary with tufty head feathers stands out. It was also the harder of the two Farm Egg Legendaries to hatch, which gave it some street cred from day one.

How to get the Crow
In late 2019 you bought the Farm Egg for 750 Bucks and rolled for a Legendary. The egg’s Legendary chance was 3%, shared between the Crow and the Owl, so each bird had about half of that. That makes the Crow a 1.5% hatch, which is low even by Adopt Me! standards.

The Farm Egg has been off-sale for years. If someone still has an unhatched one, it can hatch a Crow at the same odds, but trading is how basically everyone gets one now. Grab your Trade License and read my trading guide so you know what a fair offer looks like.
What it looks like
Black feathers all over, a dark gray beak and talons, two black eyes, two little feather tufts on top of the head and a feathery tail. It shares a body shape with the Parrot, but the animations are different. Ride or fly it and the movement feels a lot like the Parrot and the Toucan.
Ages, Neon and Mega Neon
The Crow learns Sit, Lay Down, Bounce, Joy, Dance 1 and Dance 2. Raising a Legendary takes a while, and my age-up guide has the fastest routes.

The Neon Crow is a fun surprise. Instead of glowing on a few accents, it glows bright white almost everywhere except the beak, eyes and feet. A black bird turned ghost-white is a whole mood. Fuse four Luminous Neons into a Mega Neon and those same areas cycle pink, orange and yellow, which honestly looks like a sunset with wings. Full steps are in my Neon and Mega Neon guide.
Demand and rarity
The Crow’s demand is steady to good. It’s a retired Legendary with a low hatch rate, and black pets always have fans, especially around Halloween. It isn’t in the same league as the Candy dragons, though, and it doesn’t need to be. Neon and Mega Neon Crows are noticeably harder to find than plain ones.
I don’t publish numeric trade values. They move every day and the lists don’t agree. My value list post explains how I compare them, and kikomii value tools are on the way.
Kiko’s take: The Crow is one of my favorite “quiet flex” pets. It isn’t flashy until it’s Neon, and then it’s one of the most dramatic glow-ups in the game. If you like goth-coded pets but can’t stretch to a Shadow Dragon, this is the move. Just compare it fairly with the Owl, since both came out of the same egg.
