How to get Lightbringer
Option 1: unbox it
- Open the MM2 shop and find Mystery Box 2.
- Pay 1,000 coins, 100 diamonds or 1 Mystery Key.
- Pray to the RNG. Each box has a 0.2% Lightbringer chance.

"Average" means some players get lucky in 20 boxes and some go 1,500 without one. Odds don't build up between boxes.
Boxes are gambling-shaped. Set a coin budget before you open any, and stop when you hit it. Don't spend Robux on diamonds chasing a 1-in-500 roll.
Option 2: trade for it
This is how most people actually get one. Lightbringer is a common godly in trades, so you rarely need to overpay.
What it looks like
- The whole gun is white, built on the "Pathbringer" design rather than a revolver, even though it looks and sounds like one.
- Gold grip under the handle.
- Two gold stripes on the barrel.
- A gold wing shape in the center and a gold trigger with a white guard.

Lightbringer isn't an official set with any knife besides the Bringer pairing, but lots of players match it with Cupid from Valentine's 2026 for the white-and-gold look.
Demand and trading
Demand is steady. It's an always-obtainable godly, so supply keeps coming in, and it doesn't get the panic buying that retired event ancients do.
That makes it a nice "first godly gun" target. It's easy to find and easy to trade away later.
The most common trick with this gun is a swap between Lightbringer and Chroma Lightbringer, or Dartbringer. Read the exact name in the trade window before you accept, and decline anyone who rushes you. More in my MM2 trading scams guide.

- Same shape: only the colors differ.
- Look: Lightbringer pops on dark maps. Darkbringer blends in, which some Sheriffs like.
- Demand: very similar. Pick the one that matches your knife.
Lightbringer is a great first godly gun because it's easy to trade for and still looks clean years later. Just don't burn half a million coins on boxes when a calm trade gets you there faster.
