Steal An Egg UFO Invasion (Update 11): UFO Times, the Alien Vault and Is Abducted Worth It?

TL;DR, bestie

Update 11 (UFO Invasion) went live in Steal An Egg on Monday 2 November (US time). The loop: help Paranoid Pete repair his machine, get the Signal Decoder, find the UFO that spawns every 30 minutes (at :00 and :30), deliver three eggs with the Abducted effect and collect UFO Debris. At Pete’s Alien Trade-In, 500 Debris buys one Alien Mutation crystal with a 15% chance to stick. Rare UFOs let you inside for about three minutes, where a vault holds the Alien Staff. My honest take: farm Debris, but don’t plan your week around a 15% roll.

Scam check

Steal An Egg has no codes. “Free Divine UFO glitch” videos, Debris generators and “join my Discord to get the vault code” links are bait. The vault code is written on a note inside the UFO, and the game gives it to you for free. Never paste anything into your browser or hand over your Roblox login to “unlock” a UFO.

The aliens are here, and they want your eggs. A few days ago I wrote about Paranoid Pete and the Alien Biome and said I’d only trust the quest steps once the developers wrote them down. They’ve done it now: the official Update 11 notes spell out the whole UFO loop. Better still, StealEgg recorded a full trip inside a UFO, vault and all. So here’s the full guide, with the parts that are confirmed kept apart from the parts that are just hype.

What Update 11 added (the confirmed bits)

Fact: the official Update 11 notes, which StealEgg and Sportskeeda both reported, list these features:

FeatureWhat it does
Paranoid Pete’s machineRepair it for Pete to get the Signal Decoder
Signal DecoderPoints you to the UFO when one spawns
UFO encountersEvery 30 minutes, at :00 and :30
UFO deliveryBring three eggs with the Abducted effect
UFO DebrisYour reward for completing an encounter
Abducted consumableTrade Debris with Pete for it
Rare UFOsSome can be entered, with a secret inside

The Alien Biome is not part of this update. It’s listed separately as Update 12, from Sat 7 Nov: 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm GMT / 3am AEDT (Sun 8 Nov) / 5am NZDT (Sun 8 Nov). Its pets, eggs and Speed gate still haven’t been announced.

How to do the UFO Invasion, step by step

  1. Find Paranoid Pete and start his quest.
  2. Repair his machine. The notes don’t list the exact materials, so follow the objective on your screen.
  3. Collect the Signal Decoder. That’s your reward for the repair.
  4. Wait for :00 or :30. A UFO spawns somewhere on the map every half hour.
  5. Use the Signal Decoder to find it. Don’t assume it lands in the same biome every time.
  6. Deliver three Abducted eggs to the UFO. Three ordinary eggs don’t count.
  7. Collect your UFO Debris. The amount per encounter isn’t confirmed.
  8. Trade Debris with Pete at the Alien Trade-In.

Here’s the bit I think trips people up: the Abducted effect on an egg (what the UFO wants) and the Abducted consumable (what Pete sells you) are two different things. You don’t need the consumable to finish your first encounter.

UFO times in your time zone

UFOs spawn at :00 and :30 past every hour. For players in the US, the UK, Sydney and New Zealand, that’s simply on the hour and half past, because all of those time zones sit on whole-hour offsets. So there’s no conversion needed. If it’s 7:00pm or 7:30pm where you are, a UFO is due.

My advice: set a repeating 25-minute timer, not a 30-minute one. Five minutes gives you time to finish what you’re doing, check the Decoder and get moving before someone else beats you to it.

Alien Trade-In: is the Abducted mutation worth it?

Fact: the Alien Trade-In screen that StealEgg recorded shows 500 UFO Debris for one Alien Mutation crystal, with a 15% application chance. Community lists show the same price. The game shows the mutation as “Alien Mutation” in one place and “Abducted” in another, but it’s the same thing. StealEgg’s records put its income multiplier at 2.5x.

Here’s my math. With a 15% chance per crystal, it takes about 6 to 7 crystals on average to land one successful mutation. That’s roughly 3,300 Debris on average. And “average” is doing a lot of work there. Some people will hit on the first crystal, and some will burn through ten and still have nothing.

My take: a 2.5x income boost on your best egg is genuinely good. Stack it with Nitro (2.75x) and StealEgg’s estimate puts the combined multiplier at 4.25x. But I wouldn’t treat Abducted as a guaranteed upgrade. Save it for your highest-income egg only. Putting a 15% roll on a mid-tier egg is like buying a lottery ticket for a coupon.

Inside the UFO: the Alien Vault and the Alien Staff

This is the secret the developers teased. Fact: StealEgg recorded a full trip inside a rare UFO. Here’s what happened:

  • The player was pulled up by the abduction beam.
  • Inside, a countdown started at 2:59, so you get about three minutes.
  • Capsules inside break open for extra UFO Debris.
  • A yellow note on the control desk had a four-digit code, which in that session was 4827.
  • Entering the code on the Alien Vault keypad gave “Vault Unlocked!” and the Alien Staff (Uncommon).

What’s not proven: that every UFO lets you inside, what the odds of a rare UFO are, and whether the code is always 4827. One recording isn’t a rule, so read the note in your own UFO and don’t trust a code from a video title.

What I’d do inside: go straight to the desk, read the note and open the vault first. Smash capsules with the time you have left. The staff is the rare part, and Debris is something you can farm outside anyway. Three minutes goes fast when you’re panic-clicking glass tubes.

What I’d do this week

  1. Finish Pete’s repair today. No Decoder means no UFOs, and every half hour you skip is Debris you won’t get back.
  2. Keep Abducted eggs for deliveries, and don’t sell them on autopilot.
  3. Save Debris in blocks of 500 and only roll crystals on your best earner.
  4. Train Speed for Saturday. Update 12 is the big one, and every biome so far has had a Speed gate.
  5. Ignore glitch videos. A “Debris dupe” that works today usually gets patched tomorrow, and exploiting can get your account banned.

Kiko’s take: Update 11 is a solid “keep you busy” patch. The every-30-minutes rhythm is smart, because it gives you a reason to log in without making you grind for hours. The vault is the fun surprise. The 15% crystal is the trap: it looks like an easy 2.5x, but on average it’s about 3,300 Debris for one success. Farm the UFOs, open the vault when you get the chance, and keep your expectations at “nice bonus”, not “life-changing”. The real story is Saturday’s biome, so save some energy for that.
