Poltergeist Box Odds in Adopt Me: Caramelgeist, Bobageist and Bubblegeist
TL;DR, bestie
Poltergeist Box odds (Adopt Me Halloween 2026, 13,000 Candy Corn each):
- Caramelgeist (Uncommon): 76%
- Bobageist (Ultra-Rare): 20%
- Bubblegeist (Legendary): 4%
On average you’ll open 25 boxes, about 325,000 Candy Corn, per Bubblegeist. Even after 50 boxes, there’s a 13% chance you still won’t have one. Unopened boxes can be traded.
🗓️ Last updated: 3 November 2026 — Halloween ended with the 2 November update; the Poltergeist Box is in the Halloween Wagon until Fri 6 Nov: 7:45am PT / 10:45am ET / 3:45pm GMT / 2:45am AEDT (Sat 7 Nov) / 4:45am NZDT (Sat 7 Nov)
The Poltergeist Box (released 9 October 2026 US time, in week two) is the event’s slot machine. The odds are public, so let’s do the math properly, so you can decide with your eyes open.
The official odds
| Pet | Rarity | Chance | Average boxes to get one |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caramelgeist | Uncommon | 76% | 1.3 |
| Bobageist | Ultra-Rare | 20% | 5 |
| Bubblegeist | Legendary | 4% | 25 |
There are no Common or Rare outcomes. These odds are from the Adopt Me! Wiki and match the in-game display.

Your real chance of a Bubblegeist
“Average 25 boxes” doesn’t mean “guaranteed by 25”. Every box is a fresh 4% roll. Here’s the chance of getting at least one Bubblegeist:
| Boxes opened | Candy Corn spent | Chance of ≥1 Bubblegeist |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 13,000 | 4% |
| 10 | 130,000 | 33.5% |
| 17 | 221,000 | 50% |
| 25 | 325,000 | 64% |
| 50 | 650,000 | 87% |
| 75 | 975,000 | 95.3% |
So it’s a coin flip at 17 boxes, and there’s still about a 1-in-3 chance of zero after 25. That’s the bit that stings.
Boxes vs saving for a guaranteed legendary
Here’s the trade-off in Candy Corn:
| Option | Candy Corn | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 1 box | 13,000 | 76% Caramelgeist, 20% Bobageist, 4% Bubblegeist |
| ~9 boxes | ~120,000 | Most likely 6–7 Caramelgeists, 1–2 Bobageists, and a 31% chance of a Bubblegeist |
| Skelicorn | 120,000 | One Legendary, guaranteed (after the Lightning Lever) |
Values for brand-new event pets are still all over the place this week, so I won’t pretend to give you numbers. The pattern from past events, though, is that piles of common event pets are hard to trade up, because everyone has them. One guaranteed legendary you actually want is the safer play.

Smart ways to use boxes
- Trade unopened boxes. The Poltergeist Box is a tradeable gift, and some traders prefer sealed boxes.
- Free boxes: everyone at the Admin Abuse event on 10 October 2026 got one. Open those for fun.
- Set a stop number before you start (say, five boxes) and stick to it.
- Buy your guaranteed pets first, then gamble with leftovers before the Halloween Wagon leaves (Fri 6 Nov: 7:45am PT / 10:45am ET / 3:45pm GMT / 2:45am AEDT (Sat 7 Nov) / 4:45am NZDT (Sat 7 Nov)).
Trading event pets safely in Adopt Me
Event pets are prime targets for scammers, especially in the first few weeks, when values are all over the place. A few rules keep you safe:
- Trade only through the in-game trade window, which needs the Trade License from the Safety Hub. Both players must accept the final screen.
- Check the final screen carefully. Look at Neon vs normal, FR/NFR/MFR, and that the pet is the one you agreed on.
- Never “trust trade” or go first with Robux or items in another game. Selling pets for real money or Robux is against the rules anyway.
- Use more than one value list. Early event values swing hard, so give them a week to settle before you make big trades.
Trade words you’ll see
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| FR / NFR / MFR | Fly Ride, Neon Fly Ride, Mega Fly Ride. Potions and neon level change the value |
| Neon | Four of the same pet, fully grown and combined |
| Mega Neon | Four Neons of the same pet, fully grown and combined |
| W / F / L | Asking whether a trade is a Win, Fair or Loss |
| Adds | Extra items asked for to even out a trade |
| Lowball | An offer well below value |

Kiko’s take: I’m a gambling-is-for-Tamagotchi-raffles-at-the-school-fair kind of girl. Buy the pet you actually want first, then open boxes with spare Candy Corn. Chasing a 4% Bubblegeist with your Skelicorn money is how you end up with 18 Caramelgeists and regret. If you or your kid find loot boxes hard to stop, that’s normal. Set the limit before the first click.
Scam check
No one can “rig” a box or sell you “boosted odds”. If someone offers “guaranteed Bubblegeist” for your pets upfront, it’s a scam. Trade sealed boxes in the trade window only.
