How to Get the Skelicorn in Adopt Me: Lightning Lever and 120,000 Candy Corn

Open coffins in the Crypt with Crypt Keys until one drops the Lightning Lever, then place the Lever in the shack next to the Manor. The buy option then unlocks. It’s a limited event pet, so get it while Halloween is running.

The Skelicorn arrived in week two (9 October 2026, US time) and has quickly become the “I need that” pet of the event: a skeletal unicorn with wings and a glowing horn. Here’s exactly how to get one, what it costs, and whether it’s worth 120,000 Candy Corn of your life.

How to get the Skelicorn, step by step
- Earn Crypt Keys. Uplift’s notes call them Rusty Keys. They come from playing the Halloween content.
- Head into the Crypt and use a key on a coffin. Coffins hand out random event items, and the Lightning Lever is one of them.
- Keep opening coffins until the Lightning Lever drops. Once you have it, it stops showing up, so you can’t get duplicates.
- Walk to the small shack beside the Manor and place the Lever. That’s the “revive” moment.
- Buy the Skelicorn for 120,000 Candy Corn.
The Lever and the keys couldn’t be traded, and they disappeared when the event ended on 2 November.
Can I just wait and buy it later?
The event is over, but the Skelicorn is in the Halloween Wagon for Candy Corn until Fri 6 Nov: 7:45am PT / 10:45am ET / 3:45pm GMT / 2:45am AEDT (Sat 7 Nov) / 4:45am NZDT (Sat 7 Nov). Budgeting 120,000 Candy Corn
120,000 is the highest Candy Corn price of the event so far. If you’re short:
- Stack minigame rounds. They pay the most Candy Corn per minute.
- Don’t spend on Poltergeist Boxes first. At 13,000 each, nine boxes would’ve been your Skelicorn.
- Candy Corn is event currency. Plan what you want to buy before Halloween wraps up, not after.
What’s a Skelicorn worth?
It’s only been out a few days, so the honest answer is that nobody knows yet. Early event values swing wildly while everyone is still buying the same pet. A few things are always true, though:
- Event legendaries often dip during the event (lots of supply) and firm up once it ends and no more can be made.
- A Neon takes 4 and a Mega Neon 16, so the big versions will always carry a steep premium.
- Robux legendaries, like week one’s Jester Dragon, usually sit above Candy Corn pets, because fewer people buy them.

Kiko’s take: The Skelicorn is giving full Holo-foil Halloween energy, and it’s a legit pet to keep. Don’t buy it as an investment while values are still settling. Buy it because a winged skeleton unicorn is objectively iconic. Would I trade my Tamagotchi for a Mega Skelicorn? Yes, and I’d throw in the batteries.
Scam check
Nobody can sell you a Lightning Lever, and nobody can “unlock” the Skelicorn for you. The Lever is untradeable. If someone asks for your login to “do the Crypt for you”, they want your inventory. Trade for a Skelicorn only in the in-game trade window.
