Safes in Brookhaven: Where They Hide, How Robbing Works and How to Stop It
TL;DR, bestie
- Most Brookhaven houses, apartments, estates and motel rooms come with a safe for your cash.
- Other players can rob a safe by planting a bomb, grabbing the money and running.
- Some safes are secret (fake walls, hidden buttons). A few houses have no safe at all.
- Lock doors, ban freeloaders, pick secret-safe houses, or build traps if you're tired of notifications.
Cash in Brookhaven is only as safe as the box you stuffed it in. Safes are the little metal villains of every house tour video, and half of roleplay drama starts with "who bombed my safe."
Safes at a glance
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Where | Most houses, apartments, estates, motel rooms; also Town Hall |
| Missing from | Some houses (example: construction house) |
| Open your own | Click the safe |
| Rob someone else's | Bomb the safe, grab cash, leave |
| Alert | Owner gets a "[Username] just robbed you" ping |
How it works
When you load a house that includes a safe, the safe comes with it. Click yours to stash or take cash. Guests (or enemies) who find it can place a bomb beside it, detonate, yoink the money and bolt. The game flags that security noticed, which is your cue to rage in chat.

Secret safes need a button, a fake wall or some other hide. Those are the ones I pick when I'm actually storing anything I care about. For a fuller house-by-house walkthrough of layouts, see the related house guide rather than this page — I'm staying on the safe system itself here (Brookhaven houses guide).
Step by step
Stashing your own cash
- Claim a house that actually has a safe.
- Find it (check closets, basements, behind paintings, under stairs).
- Click the safe and move cash in.
Robbing (the chaotic option)
- Get inside somehow — unlocked door, invite, or the usual glitch bag nonsense people swear by.
- Find the safe.
- Place a bomb next to it, set it off, grab the money, leave before the owner returns.

Tips
- Prefer houses with secret safes if you're AFK-ish.
- Keep the front door locked. Ban anyone who "just wants to look around."
- Props and traps near the safe path slow down bombers.
- Town Hall has a safe too if you're doing civic roleplay for some reason.
- Watch recent YouTube house tours after big housing updates — safe spots move when Voldex ships new homes.
Common mistakes
- Assuming every house has a safe. Construction house and a few others don't.
- Leaving doors unlocked "for friends" and wondering why the cash evaporated.
- Ignoring the robbery notification and standing still.
- Learning safes only from outdated videos. New houses land often.
Kiko's take: Safes are peak Brookhaven: half banking, half chaos. I keep mine secret, door locked, and I still don't store more cash than I'd shrug about losing.

Roleplay vs actual money
Some players treat safes as props for cop stories. Others treat them as real storage. Both are valid. If you're in a chill RP server, say so in chat before someone bombs your set piece. If you're in a chaos server, assume every unlocked door is a donation box.
I keep a "decoy" amount in an obvious safe and anything I actually care about in a secret one — or I spend it on house unlocks so there's nothing left to steal. Brookhaven cash isn't endgame; pride is. That's why robbery notifications feel personal even when the amount was tiny.
FAQ
Do all Brookhaven houses have safes? No. Most do. Some, like the construction house, don't.
How do players rob a safe? They plant a bomb by it, detonate, take the money and run. You get a notification with their username.
Is there a safe outside houses? Town Hall has one. Motel rooms and apartments can have them too.
