Weapons in Steal An Egg: Every Biome Bat, Its Power and Reach
TL;DR, bestie
- In Steal An Egg, your weapon is a bat (or something bat-shaped). You use it to knock eggs out of other players’ hands and to fight bosses.
- Each biome has its own bat, and later bats hit harder and reach farther. The Forest Bat starts at x1 power, and the Titan Axe from Titan Temple reaches x2.59 power with 18.8 extra reach.
- There are also limited bats from events: the Flyswatter, Scrambler Bat, Racing Bat, Pumpkin Scythe, a Guitar and the Alien Staff.
- Reach matters more than people think. A longer swing lets you tag a runner before they’re out of range.

Every egg thief needs a getaway plan, and every defender needs a bonk plan. In Steal An Egg, that bonk comes from your weapon.
It starts as a humble bat and ends up as a katana or a giant axe. This page covers the whole weapon lineup, what the numbers mean, and how I actually use mine.
Weapons at a glance
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| What weapons do | Knock eggs out of players’ hands; hit bosses like the Rift Overlord |
| Starting weapon | Starter bat (x1 power, no extra reach) |
| Best biome weapon listed | Titan Axe (x2.59 power, 18.8 extra reach) |
| Stat 1 | Power multiplier |
| Stat 2 | Extra reach |
| Limited weapons | Event, quest and vault rewards |
How it works
When someone runs past you holding an egg, a clean hit makes them drop it, and then anyone can grab it, including you. My stealing guide covers that part of the game. This page is about the weapon itself.
Each weapon has two numbers. Power is a multiplier on how hard your hit lands.
Extra reach adds to your swing range, so you can tag someone from farther away. The community wiki lists one bat per biome, and both numbers climb as the biomes get harder:
| Weapon | Biome | Power | Extra reach |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter bat | Start | x1 | 0 |
| Forest Bat | Forest | x1 | 0 |
| Lake Bat | Lake | x1.1 | 1.88 |
| Desert Bat | Desert | x1.21 | 3.75 |
| Jungle Bat | Jungle | x1.33 | 5.63 |
| Snow Bat | Snow | x1.46 | 7.5 |
| Volcano Bat | Volcano | x1.61 | 9.38 |
| Abyss Ocean Bat | Abyss Ocean | x1.77 | 11.3 |
| Prehistoric Bat | Prehistoric | x1.95 | 13.1 |
| Cosmic Bat | Cosmic | x2.14 | 15 |
| Katana | Cherry Blossom | x2.36 | 16.9 |
| Titan Axe | Titan Temple | x2.59 | 18.8 |
Newer areas add more: a Golden Spear tied to Angels & Demons, plus a Leafy Wooden Club and Cricket’s Banjo from the Enchanted Forest. The Banjo is a reward for finishing the Jitterbug quest there. The wiki hasn’t listed power and reach for those three yet, so I’m not going to make numbers up.

Limited weapons
These come from events and special unlocks, and they don’t come back on a normal day:
| Weapon | Where it came from |
|---|---|
| Flyswatter | Hungry Monster |
| Scrambler Bat | Dr. Scramble Event (finish all 5 parts) |
| Racing Bat | Racing Event |
| Pumpkin Scythe | Halloween |
| Guitar | The Jonas Brothers concert |
| Alien Staff | The Alien Vault |

Step by step: using your weapon well
- Upgrade as you unlock biomes. Each new biome bat adds power and reach, so treat it as part of your progress, not a cosmetic.
- Stand where runners have to pass. Narrow paths back to bases are prime spots.
- Swing at the edge of your reach. With extra reach, you can hit before they get close enough to dodge around you.
- Grab the egg yourself. A dropped egg is fair game. If you bonk and stand there admiring it, someone else takes it.
- Use it on bosses too. In the Rift Event, you hit the Overlord’s hand with your bat when it faints, for 100 damage per hit.
Tips
- Reach is the stat I notice most in real games. Going from the Forest Bat to the Snow Bat adds 7.5 reach, which is a big difference when someone is sprinting away.
- Limited bats are mostly about style and bragging rights. The wiki doesn’t list their stats, so don’t assume an event bat beats your best biome bat.
- If you’re carrying a heavy egg, you’re the target. Speed matters more than your weapon at that moment. My speed guide explains why.
Common mistakes
- Chasing instead of cutting off. Running behind a faster player rarely works. Get ahead of their route.
- Ignoring your own back. Other players have bats too, and they’ll hit you the second you pick up their egg.
- Believing “OP bat” scripts. Exploit downloads are a fast way to lose your account. The real upgrades are already in the game.

I’d rather have a mid-tier bat and good positioning than the best bat and no plan. That said, the jump from the starter bats to the Snow or Volcano tier is real, and it makes defending your base way less stressful. The Pumpkin Scythe is the one limited weapon I’d lowkey flex in a lobby, purely for the vibes.
