How to Get Cursed Monarch in Steal An Egg: The Two-Player Divine Fuse

The Cursed Monarch is a Divine pet from a two-player fusion upstairs in the Abandoned Manor. You need 2 Eternal Ghost Fish + 2 Divine Voidseer Pumpkins in total, one of each per player, placed on four labeled pedestals. You need the Manor Key to get in. The reward is a Cursed Monarch Egg you hatch at base. Base income is reported at $16B/s, though one wiki-synced database lists $12.5B/s, so check yours. There’s no solo route.

It’s the strongest Halloween pet in Steal An Egg, and the only way to get it is with a friend and four very rare pets. Plan it like a heist.
The recipe

- Two players. Each brings one Ghost Fish and one Voidseer Pumpkin. That’s the version shown in walkthroughs.
- Rarity matters. The pedestal won’t accept a different fish or a different pumpkin.
- Reward: walkthroughs mostly show a Cursed Monarch Egg to hatch at your base. A few describe the pet directly, so check what your server gives.
Step by step
1. Get both pets (the hard part)
- Ghost Fish: fish the Halloween Dimension water (the Haunted Swamp is easiest) with the Haunted Rod. See how to catch Ghost Fish.
- Voidseer Pumpkin: steal one from the Abandoned Manor biome when it spawns. It’s the bottleneck. See my Voidseer Pumpkin guide.
2. Unlock the manor
You need the Manor Key, which you fish up in the hidden pool under Forgotten Town. Full route in my Manor Key guide. Both players need to be able to get in.
3. Head upstairs
Inside the manor, take the stairs to the upper room with books, purple lights and four labeled pedestals. That’s the fusion altar. It’s not the boss portal outside and not the old fuse machine at spawn.
4. Fill the pedestals
Hold the right pet and use the pedestal. Its status changes from Missing to Ready. Follow the labels, not a left/right order. When all four say Ready, follow the activation prompt.
5. Hatch your egg
Take the Cursed Monarch Egg back to your base and hatch it as normal.
Is it worth it?

Even on the higher figure, it’s only slightly more income than the two pets you give up added together. You’re mostly trading two garden slots for one, plus bragging rights. Whether that’s worth it depends on how full your garden is. If space is tight, it’s a W.
Unconfirmed, so be careful:
- whether the pets come back if your partner disconnects mid-fusion;
- whether there’s a cooldown or a limit on repeats;
- exactly how the reward is shared out.
Assume the pets are used up, and agree everything with your partner before anyone places anything.
Picking a fusion partner
- Someone you actually know. You’re both putting in a Divine.
- Both bring both pets. Two people with only Ghost Fish will just stand there with two empty pedestals.
- Check the pedestals together. Make sure everyone’s on the same server version (a freshly updated Part 2 server).
Staying safe while you grind
Event weeks bring a flood of “free pet” and “auto-steal” videos. A few quick reminders:
- Steal An Egg has no codes. Any site or video selling “event codes” is fake.
- Scripts and executors are against Roblox’s rules and can get accounts banned. Many are disguised password stealers.
- Nobody can “give” you an event pet from outside the game. “Send me your login and I’ll transfer it” is a scam every time.
- Grab the free Speed gift (like, favorite and join the group in the Free area) before spending Robux on Speed. It’s a big one-off boost.

Kiko’s take: The Cursed Monarch is the Holo Charizard of this update. It’s mostly a flex, partly an upgrade, and 100% a test of friendship. Go in with your best gaming friend, not someone from chat who “definitely has a Voidseer”. If someone you don’t know insists you place yours first, that’s a red flag.

- strangers who want you to “place first” or hand over your pets “to hold”;
