The Gingerscope is what happens when MM2 decides a sniper rifle should also be dessert. It’s made entirely of gingerbread, decorated with icing and candy, and it has a peppermint handle. Somehow it still looks dangerous. Since Christmas 2023, it’s been one of the most wanted guns in the game.

How to get the Gingerscope
During Christmas 2023, the Battle Pass had 20 tiers. The earlier tiers cost 800 Snow Tokens each, and the final tier with the Gingerscope cost 98,000. That’s more than the Icepiercer’s final tier the year before, and a lot of players spent the whole break grinding rounds to reach it.
The event closed in early February 2024, and the Gingerscope has been trade-only ever since. It’s a high-demand item, which also makes it a favorite of scammers. Read my MM2 trading scams post before you put anything big on the table.
What it looks like
It’s a tactical sniper rifle made of gingerbread, with a scope on top, faint white icing, small candy pieces down one side and a red-and-white striped peppermint handle. The shot trail is red and white too, so the candy cane theme carries all the way through.
What sets it apart is the custom hold animation. Before the Gingerscope, every gun used the same idle pose. This one has its own, which is a small detail that makes it feel premium the moment you equip it. It was also the first weapon in the game to carry the yellow FX tag.
Set and history
The Gingerscope’s official partner is the Gingerscythe, an Evo knife from a 1,699 Robux gamepass. The catch: the Gingerscythe can’t be traded. Because of that, many players pair the Gingerscope with the Gingerheart, an Uncommon knife from the Christmas 2024 tier rewards, for a matching look that’s actually tradable.
Like the other Ancient guns, it has leaderboard trophy versions. Top event players got gold, silver, bronze or blue Gingerscopes, and those are separate Unique items. It was designed by IDontHaveAUse, who also made the Harvester and Icepiercer.
Demand and rarity
Very high. Even among Ancients, the Gingerscope stands out, and it’s often treated as one of the top items to own. The custom animation, the look and the cost of the original grind all play into it. Trophy versions are rarer still.

Kiko’s take: The Gingerscope is the one gun I’d call a genuine flex. It’s the rare item where the look, the history and the demand all line up. The pairing situation is annoying, though. I wish the Gingerscythe were tradable, but the Gingerheart combo looks cute and costs way less.
